The Rochelle and Richard Maize Foundation is proud to support the Rett Syndrome Research Trust (RSRT) as a Silver Sponsor of Reverse Rett LA 2026, the largest fundraising event for Rett syndrome in the world, held at the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills.
Rett syndrome is a rare genetic neurological disorder that affects around 350,000 children and adults worldwide, almost all of them girls. Founded in 2008, RSRT has invested more than $91 million in research to find cures for Rett syndrome and related MECP2 disorders.
The Foundation’s gift supports RSRT’s Roadmap to Cures, an initiative to bring three genetic medicines to clinical trials by 2028. It is part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to medical research and to the families whose lives it can change.
